Rikke Munk Hansen

Ms. Rikke Munk Hansen has worked for the United Nations for 18 years in the areas of sustainable development policy analysis, programme management, evaluation and statistics.

Rikke currently oversees work on economic and environment statistics at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). She first joined ESCAP’s Statistics Division as the head of its statistical information services and was in this capacity part of the team that initiated the Asia-Pacific CRVS movement.

Earlier in her career, Rikke worked for the Danish Government, including in its statistical system producing the annual energy and emission statistics.

Rikke holds a MSc in mathematics and computer science.
